I want to estimate how much building a computer would cost and I would like to see which are compatible with each other. Anyone know a website where you pick each part and it estimates the price of a computer?

When I built my PC, there was a good Haynes book (I borrowed it out of the library) that taught me everything I needed to know (Build your own Computer by Kyle MacRae)

If you’re trying to estimate the price of building a computer yourself, I suggest you steer clear of the sales sites that build a computer for you based on your specs, as they have buying power enough to buy components in bulk and get a discount.
