Building Websites with TYPO3: A practical guide to getting your TYPO3 website up and running fast

This book is for beginers only if you have used TYPO3 for a while and know a bit of typoscript then this book is a waste of money. But for a beginner there is a lot of good information.

Well the book is great to programm webpages in typo3.
But I say this clear, if you are a beginner in Programming, have even no idea what is HTML, then do not waste your money, because you have problems to understand this book.

I am very excited about this product (TYPO3), and was pleased to support the effort by buy these rather pricey books (I also purchased the Pakt “TypoScript” book), but was disappointed by the content. The books are thin for the content covered, and are (in my opinion) no better than the tutorials on typo3.org. The presentation is muddled, and incomplete – often referencing the official documentation for full details – not the through presentation of building a website with Typo3 I’d hoped for. I’d recommend waiting for a clearer presentation to spend your money on.
